Grand Hotel "La Pace"

The Grand Hotel "la Pace" was erected in 1870 but it was radically restructured at the beginning of the 20th-century. Along Corso Roma there is the monumental access, unfortunately no longer used today, rich in great windows of the Roman Thermal Spa type, Liberty decorations, elaborate Ferronneries and, in the high part the imposing inscription "Grande Albergo" in the typical graphic art of the period. Still today the entrance preserves, in their entirety, the stained-glass windows produced by the San Lorenzo Furnaces on the inspiration of Galileo Chini, decorations characterized and deriving from the Viennese Secession, considering the use of gold and typically of Klimtian taste.

On the inside of the Grand Hotel "La Pace" the Party Hall, entirely frescoed by Galileo Chini in 1904, reserves great attention and quality, as do other pictorial interventions present in the adjoining rooms.
